Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin on Sheriff’s Pardon case.

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin are the co-founders of FrontPage Confidential. Before all that, they were working together at the Phoenix News Times. Jim Larkin studied at Arizona State University. It wasn’t long until he dropped out of the university. All this occurred in the year 1972. Jim went ahead and teamed up with Michael Lacey as a journalist.

At the time, Michael was the Editor of the corporation while Jim Larkin was the Chief Executive officer. He was responsible for the general overseeing of the day to day activity in the company. This included advertising projects of the company.

1983 was one of the most successful years in their organizations. They were able to purchase Denver’s News-and-Arts Weekly. This resulted in a massive expansion of the company. They made the company to be a multimillion dollar company that performed better each year. After their success during that year, they continued to shine as they gained fame among the people of Arizona and the rest of the nation.

Michael and Jim were later arrested in October 2017. They were arrested because it was claimed that the Times wrote something negative about the Grand jury subpoenas. The papers stated that the jury was against the writers and editors of the Phoenix News Times. It was speculated that these were direct orders from the sheriff of Maricopa County that is in part of Arizona. He had the two gentlemen taken to a mexican jail. A judge who was keeping a keen eye on him ensured that he took advantage of the fact that he did not go back to the office again. He filed a case against him that was related to crime. Later after Donald Trump became president, he pardoned him. The pardon led to a reaction from the two writers.

There were harsh reactions from them. They said that it was so wrong for President Trump to give a pardon to the former Sheriff.

They also said that this did not come as a shock to them because Sheriff Joe was a great supporter and a precursor to Trump, so was told by Larkin. Larkin believes that the President did this in favor of Sheriff Joe because he also has a cynical insight towards the Mexicans in America.
