Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi’s Life Before And After Bradesco

Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi is one man you can never get out of your mind. The sixty-six-year-old, since his prime, has worked hard to bring change to the world. Indeed, it has been a journey for Cappi, a challenging run that he has finally overcome.

So, who is Trabuco, really? Carlos is a banker by profession and a psychologist and philosopher by training. Luiz got educated at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters of Sao Paulo and at the Fundacao School of Sociology and Politics of Sao Paulo.

Carlos began working at the age of eighteen. The first job he took was with Bradesco, a company he still works for to-date. Cappi, who joined Bradesco in 1969, has risen through the ranks because of his hard work and smart thinking. Despite the roller coaster ride, Trabuco, who took the position of the department director, managing director executive, executive vice president, CEO, and COO over the years is now the organization’s outgoing President scheduled to give his baton to Octavio de Lazari Junior during the first quarter of 2018.

Additionally, Carlos re-engineered the return on equity increasing it from twenty-two to twenty-nine almost immediately. The company has continued to enjoy a high return on equity ever since, a move that has made the corporation a threat to all its competitors.

Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi, apart from being a part and parcel of Bradesco, has also worked for companies across the globe in other capacities. Mr. Cappi currently works for Odontoprev S.A, and Bradespar S.A. Additionally, Trabuco has at one point in time worked for Brasil S.S, Bradesco Vida e Previdencia S.A, Banco Bradesco S.A, ArcelorMittal, Grupo Bradesco Seguros, Banco Espirito Santo S.A, the National Association for Private Pension Plans, and the Brazilian Association for Listed Companies.

Mr. Trabuco, despite his exit as President of the Company, will still retain his seat as a member of the board. Things are looking to the upright because Luiz leaves Bradesco in good shape after many years of service. The run that spans over four decades has built both Cappi and Bradesco in equal measure.
