Baltimore and Todd Lubar

Baltimore is growing as a definite hot spot among the younger demographic. With all the young professionals constantly moving into the city, there is an ever-increasing demand for real estate. One popular option among these new residents is refurbished older buildings. And living space is not the only thing growing in the city. The city is seeking to accommodate this growing populace by expanding and improving its public transportation system. This will mean that these new inhabitants won’t need to spend even more money on parking spaces, which will make Baltimore even more attractive a place to live.


In addition, it not just young professionals moving into the city in droves. Many businesses are also moving there. Many of these new businesses include restaurants and luxury shopping areas. All of this expansion and improvement of Baltimore is not expected to increase the cost of living here one bit. This is extremely good news for people who work in the nearby Washington, D.C. but can’t afford to live there with its sky-high prices. This population boom, while the greatest in Baltimore, is being felt all across Maryland. And although the boom is certainly young demographic heavy, there are also lots of middle-class families moving into the area.


One of the primary movers in the Baltimore real estate industry is Todd Lubar. Throughout the years he has also attained a vast amount of experience and knowledge in credit and finance. He went into professional life as a loan originator for Crestar Mortgage Corporation. He first entered the real estate industry in 1995. As a real estate agent, he spent the next few years forging many insider relationships with other real estate agents, CPA’s, and financial planners. In 1999 he accepted an equity position with Legacy Financial Group.


In 2002 he founded the real estate company, Legendary Properties, LLC. His leadership at this firm helped him form relationships in construction and banking. In 2003, Lubar founded Chart Funding, a subsidiary of the privately held mortgage company, First Magnus Financial Corporation. He is currently the president of TDL Ventures. He also owns and operates various real estate companies. Being a profitable businessman is not his only concern. He also has a strong desire to see the Baltimore area grow and thrive.


Today Lubar lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his family. He and his wife are the proud parents of two beautiful children. In his rare free time, he loves traveling with his family. Their favorite place to vacation is Orange County, California. In every facet of his life, his goal is continual self-improvement as he becomes an ever better person. In addition, he hopes to leave this world a better place than when he entered it.
